Beef Stew with Beer Recipe

Ingredients
⅓ Cup Flour
2 Teaspoons Salt
¼ Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
2 Pounds Beef Cut into Cubes
¼ Cup Olive Oil
6 Medium Onions, sliced
1 Clove of Garlic, Minced
1 12-ounce Bottle or Can of Beer
1 Tablespoon Parsley
1 Bay Leaf
¼ Teaspoon Dried Thyme

Preparation Instructions
Combine ⅓ cup flour, 2 teaspoons salt and ¼ teaspoon black pepper into a bowl.  Dredge the meat in the mixture.  Heat ¼ cup olive oil in a large skillet, and add the onions and garlic.  Cook until soft, and then remove from the pan.  Add the meat to the pan and brown on all sides.  Return the onions to the pan.  Add the beer, parsley, bay leaf and thyme, and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat to low.  Cook until the meat is tender, about 1 ¼ hours.
